Oceane has just won the 10k in Portugal and also won the 10k in Turkey in May.
She also, last year, got a quali WC to Roland Garros as the youngest (age 16), most promising youngster.
And was 100 places lower at the ranking sign-in date.
So it's a bit unfortunate for Mirabelle to come up against her in a Quali ! (Although this is a 15k so the standard is higher obviously, and she hasn't quite moved on as people expected this year, although was maybe over-hyped anyway).
Not really used to Southern Europe, she was a bit taken aback to have a match at 'not before 9 p.m.' and now, what with the storms etc., it's been put back to 'not before 10.45 pm' !!!
'Bedtime' has gone out the window - time for a siesta ?
In Granby (Canada) they've gone to the opposite extreme, the Challenger matches start at 10am, but on 1 court they're supposed to have played 3 ITF matches before that!
