Jonny's match was almost an exact reversal of last week. Tight first set going to a TB and then the TB winner going on to take the 2nd set 6-2, with the only difference being that this week it was Jonny whereas last week it was James.
Paulisi - Your comment re Neil P/Top 500 is noted and correct. You know me too well, my friend. However, I had already checked and although a SF here would put him back in the Top 500, on Mon week, he has 10 points to come off the following week and several more over the next few months. So really hoping he goes well this week, but that it also it leads to a run of good form so that he can protect his other points.
Having said all that however, if he loses in the QF, I will be delighted for Jonny O'Mara who for me, is also a candidate for Top 500 in the next 12 months, if he can stay injury free.

If Jonny stays injury free I will be hugely disappointed if he doesn't make the top 500 in the next 12 months. He has the talent and unlike some younger Brits I don't think there is any questioning his desire or willingness to work hard enough to succeed.
