Kyle breaks - now HOLD!

Semrajc's supporters are very noisy.

Another 2 BPs for Kyle and this time he takes the first with a fabulous short angle cross court forehand passing shot.

*3-2

A lone English voice in the crowd shouts out, "Great shot"

The music on the change overs is pretty dire.

At 30-0, Kyle served a clean ace out wide but it was called out. But Kyle manages to keep himself together (just) and holds.

4-2*

Yes. Kyle breaks again, finishing off with a great backhand return at the feet of the on rushing server.

*5-2

Double break 5-2 -NOW HOLD!!!

Are the Slovenian supporters banging on a dustbin lid, or is the match being played in a pre-fab tin shed with a howling gale outside?

Just caught the last set.

Kyle was very steady, whilst the other guy was making some really bad unforced errors. Kyle's big forehand was firing. Comfortable final set, good win.

Yes Kedders!! biggrinbiggrin

Wasn't quite sure what he was trying to do with that dink shot up at the net on the first MP, but great win nonetheless and some encouraging signs.

The other guy wasn't great, not sure if he was injured, but well done Kyle on a great comeback win. Thought Kyle was more animated than usual and he didn't use his big 1st serve too much until the last game, but for the most part the forehand was firing, and physically he came through the match well.

Well done!

When Kyle gets more experienced, leads like that 4-1 lead he had initially will grow and he will close out matches like this in straights.

As it is, he did we ll to battle the storm and must surely have a look at a QF here now.
