There's so much Brit interest in the doubles (only four non-Brits, in fact!) that I though it sensible to give them their own thread:

Ed and JWH looked a good pair and will be difficult to beat. Gill and Strachan played well.
Watched all of the Harry/Neil v Jonny/Scott match and Jonny and Scott got out of jail. Neil got broke serving for the match in the second set and Neil and Harry were well ahead in the MTB, but lost the last four points to lose the match with Harry double faulting. Scott made a lot of errors and Jonny may have an issue with his right knee. He was grimacing a bit in the second set. Oli and George were very good in the first set, but the strangest story was with the new lads Keighley and Whalley played their first match on tour and got fined for not playing in matching shorts.....To be fair they played well and gave a good account of themselves, although Jacob said he thought Richard and Marcus had a couple of gears in hand. They said they weren't aware of the rules, but they will learn.
Saw the MTB in Burts and Milts match, they were a set and a break up.
They were poor. Rob C served well and they also got a couple of framed winners, but were never in the MTB and Lewis was very despondent and got a racket abuse call at the end.

QF: Oli Golding & George Morgan CR 1422 (699+723) defeated (3) George Coupland & David Rice CR 953 (722+231) by 7-6(3) 6-4
Arguably a not unsurprising result, given Dave's apparently lengthy tussle with James Marsalek in the singles earlier.

SF: Ed Corrie & Josh Ward-Hibbert CR 544 (193+351) vs (4) Scott Clayton & Jonny O'Mara CR 1346 (681+665) SF: Oli Golding & George Morgan CR 1422 (699+723) vs (2) Marcus Daniell (NZL) & Richard Gabb CR 628 (250+378)
Also the fact that George is a very good doubles player, they were very good in the first set yesterday. I would suggest that both Team Bath pairs will get beaten in the semi finals.
