I see Oli is down for a challenger in Slovenia next week of which he is a long way off qualifying for main draw. Thus would need to sign in Friday evening. If he wins tomorrow, the forecast is terrible for Friday, so will mess up his plans. I wonder if he will play Ilkley and claim a wildcard?
Not suprised about Neil P. Didn't serve that well in the doubles last night.
Burton will bottle it against Klein
I hope Harry wins, he is playing well enough at the moment.
By the way, all the officials were from overseas. I assume they were cast offs from Wimbledon and there were quite a lot of disputed line calls.
Was hoping to get down again today, but stuck in the office and for some silly reason they have scheduled matches from 10.30 and only 3 matches per court, so by the time i get there most of the singles will be nearly finished. #annoyed
Might go down Saturday if forecast is OK.

It's always the way at British futures. They schedule for the convenience of the players and officials, not spectators. Compare how the French schedule so play lasts as long as possible.
Not concerning for Harry that he was unable to muster a single break point in that first set against a serve as woeful as Milton's. Hard to see past Josh pumping him now.

Not that surprising really. Milton's serve might be laughable and he doesn't have a classic grass court game but he is quite good on the surface. He tends to hit the ball pretty flat and deep and so will have probably dominated rallies by denying Meehan the opportunity to use his power to decent effect.

James won slightly more points than Dave - 127 to 124.
Oli served 16 aces in his win.

Forecast is poor for the next 3/4 days - so they may struggle to get all the matches finished. I'm 15 miles away and it is currently drizzling and very overcast.
I'm a real stickler for good technique (why not just learn to do it properly in the first place?) but, having seen Josh live at the W qualis, his serve was quite acceptable, not only in result, but also seemed technically a fair bit better (if still not excellent). It certainly was a LONG way off the really embarrassing thing I saw last time I saw him on the livestream.
That said, I agree that Oli should win, and should expect to win, and should set his sights high. But Josh was solid on grass at Roehampton, few errors, not easy to beat.
Of course, if the weather is lousy and it goes indoors (today or after waiting till tomorrow), then it's all a bit different.
