Kivanda won.

Main draw out - Oli v JWH highlight. Rice v O' Hare interesting.

10.30 start so I will miss first matches and some of second.

Only 2 non GB players and they have tough draws - Glasspool and Rice, so could be max GB points.

I noticed Dan S wasn't in the doubles when SC put that up this morning. (Ed playing with JWH).

Wonder if he's got some challengers planned, a la Dan Cox.

Looks like the two Dans are doing the US hard court season

Coming from a successful college career and having lost only a couple of weeks ago, in three very close sets, to both Ryan Harrison and Dan Smethurst, Joe Salisbury is my pick to cause a bit of havoc in the seedings. And to be top 500 within the next 12 months for Bob's list. (Assuming he plays a year of pro-tennis - not sure what his plans are).

First sets have been won by Keelan, Joe and Neil.

James is a break up.

Oli v Josh is a slug fest as expected, on serve, not a single BP

Neil was the first to close out the win. Followed quickly by Joe.

Keelan and Jack are about to start the third set.

James and Jonny are playing the longest first set ever - jonny had lots of SPs but now into a TB.

Oli only needed one BP to win the first set and is now cruising in the second.

Add: Oliver wins 6-4 6-2, which was as exptected given their respective play in the W qualies.

James won the TB - jonny may well rue his chances before that.

Jonny did end up regretting his missed chances in the 1st set by the looks of it. His 2-set match with James took nearly as long as the 7-5 in the 3rd between the two qualifiers!

L32: James Marsalek WR 782 beat Jonny O'Mara WR 854 by 7-6(4) 6-2
L32: (Q) Keelan Oakley WR 1321 beat (Q) Jack Findel-Hawkins UNR by 6-4 3-6 7-5
L32: (3) Oli Golding WR 359 beat Josh Ward-Hibbert WR 796 by 4 & 2
L32: (6) Neil Pauffley WR 530 beat George Morgan WR 1104 by 2 & 4
L32: (WC) Joe Salisbury WR 1623 beat Jathan Malik WR 902 by 3 & 4

The last two winners play each other in R2.

In the second set of matches, Dave, Harry and Ed are all a set up.

I think it was "first" as in "first seed to go down" ...

Lloyd gets the first set in a TB and then Marcus retired. Hope he's OK

Wonder if Lloyd'll be off to Denmark again this year ? certainly suited him last year . . .

On serve in the third for Lewis and Scott

Marshall leading Imran 4*-2
