He withdrew from Poznan and didn't enter Recanti, but would have main draw anyway if he had.

He might have a wildcard though, otherwise a rest could be good.

Seemingly, there have been so many withdrawals in Hamburg this week, that the cut-off for the qualis is WR 1263 !!!!!!

It isn't that unusual for the final qualifying cut off to be very low, even in the better ATP events. The draws tend to include half a dozen or so players at the upper end of the ranking spectrum and after that it can very hit and miss.

Great to see steven's Top 25 Women table this week (and last) - with ALL the players well inside the top 1000 and with double digit points

This time last year, 2013, the bottom three had 9, 7 and 6 points.

And above that, there were players on 10, 11 and two on 12.

That's 7 top-25 players with less than 13.

This week, 2014, the 25th player has 13 points.
