Damm Wardy nicked in ahead of Ken and Sam, can't say I'm over the moon about that. Happy for Anna but Wardy IS NOT A DOUBLES PLAYER.

Any chance they could get in as alternates, Phil?

Blimey, the Bye family is a massive one. They could dominate tennis for years to come with 32 players in the Mixed Doubles!

Wardy needs a win, 3 WC entries, 3 defeats would be poor

James has had WC's for Queens, Eastbourne and Wimbledon in singles, Queens and Wimbledon in doubkles and now here in mixed.  He certainly seems to be in favour at the moment.

3 defeats for James at Wimbledon would not be poor ( though he didn't play too well in his singles match ). But I think the awarding of the doubles WCs can certainly be argued as poor.

Mr Ward has the best history of results on grass after Mr Murray - scant surprise that he's been awarded WCs. Don't really agree with the doubles WC myself, but that's not his fault.

They needed the last WC so almost certainly not sadly.

Nothing against Wardy, but doubles WCs in my opinion should go doubles players, end of.
