I'm amazed at how fast Genie has improved. I remember last year saying I thought she was a future top 10 player and potential slam winner after impressing me on the clay in Strasbourg but the speed at which she has transformed herself into a top player on 3 different surfaces is just astonishing. At the start of last year I watched her lose 1st round in Auckland to Vesnina; she really struggled when the ball was deep. At the time she was ranked 147 and her performance didn't suggest she'd be making the top 100 any time soon. The following week she lost to Storm Sanders (674) in the first round of Sydney qualifying then to Gavrilova (223) in the 2nd round of Aus Open qualifying.
Still expect Kvitova to have too much class for her.

That was one of the most entertaining matches I have seen this Wimbledon. Naomi seemed to spend most of the time with a big grin across her face. Naomi and Neal play the 16th seeds Qureshi and Dushevina in the QF. I don't know what the world is coming to with wild cards getting through to the QF of a Grand Slam
Qureshi & Dushevina removed the 2nd seeds Bryan & Peschke in the previous round.
