Kyle now 2 sets down having lost the second set breaker from 3-0 up. Time for him to get back to the grind of challengers now. Playing some good stuff but clearly not quite ready for this level yet and this fast-tracking business needs to stop.
Not to be for Evo. After being blown away in the first set he played 3 pretty good sets but Kuznetsov was also pretty good for much of the match. On another day Dan would have forced a fifth set but Kuznetsov won just enough of the big points.

A pretty disappointing day really - especially Kyle not even taking a set off AHM, who might be the best draw he ever gets as a WC (though if he gets back to business in Challengers from now on, hopefully he won't need (m)any more), and Evo will probably feel it's a missed opportunity too. Dan Cox did best of the GB men today, apart from Andy.

Really quite glad for Mr Cox: that was a fine showing. Sounds as though Mr Evans also fought back nicely after a weak opening. Ah well. Now back to the daily grind ... except for hoping for Mr Smethurst to do well tomorrow!
Yep, given the matches and the opponents, I thought Dan Cox turned in the best performance today, by quite a way.
And that's including Andy, although it's no criticism of Andy, simply that you can't get many brownie points if you're ranked number three and you beat the WR 105.
