While Ashley has had a pretty good week and reaching the final is great, I can't say that I have been overimpressed with his wins this week.

Today looks a step up, and I was never really confident of a win.

I do hope that I'm proved wrong.

Get in Ash - he is terrific on clay. I wish he would compete more on the clay circuit.

Ash seems to be underrated not a bad position to be in, look at Smethy didn't do him any harm.

I don't think there's any doubt that he can get inside the top 250/200 in time.

Glad you said that Phil I have always rated him I think he lost his way after going to far east last autumn. I saw him indoors in Glasgow a couple of years ago he was red hot in that tournament
