RE: Week 25 - ATP World Tour 250 - Eastbourne (grass) - doubles

Double snap or should it be Doubles snap?

Just one point away from a perfect day at Eastbourne for all Brits today.....

It would be nice for Colin and Ross to win the battle of the Brits as Ross needs the points.

The Skupskis have a real tough match.

What a great day for all the remaining doubles players. I have so many split loyalties over with this semi final line up, so let's just leave it that I hope Ken and Neal come through against the top seeds.

Ken and Neal at *5-5 in the second against Peya/Soares having lost the first 6-3. Had set point on "killer" deuce in the last game on the Peya/Soares serve but couldn't convert.

Peya & Soares are a bit of a mare for GB pairs at the moment.

They're a bit of a mare for most teams, to be fair.

So a second year of British finalists (and also against Peya/Soares, if I'm not mistaken). Mr Huey and Mr Inglot also needed a good result at this point, so I'm glad for them, though wish both teams could have won! Well played to the Skupski Brothers, too.

Congrats to Dom & Treat on their 3rd ATP main tour title (in their first main tour grass court final) - top seeds and defending champs Peya and Soares finally defeated 5-7 7-5 10:8

So pleased for them!  Particularly Dom, who has not had as much Davis Cup action as I think he deserves.
