Oh well. Too slow again to get the result up. Must be because I am tired from being woken up by a "phantom phonecall" this morning
But that is a monster effort from Dan S following his long 3 setter v Joe earlier today. It would have been really disappointing to have come out of the day with nothing after all that effort. So big congrats to Dan. A well deserved 6 points (and some cash)

Mr VEB has played a total of three matches on grass since 2010 (this is the fourth). It looks very much as if each year that he could, he has made the pilgrimage to the Wimbledon qualifiers ... lost in the first round ... and then gone back to more friendly surfaces. Quite a kind draw, despite his seeding. By contrast, the unseeded and 614-ranked Mr Guccione, whom Mr Cox faces in the FQR, is a potential threat of the first order, particularly for someone who doesn't have the strongest of serves. That said, Mr Cox is playing very well ...

Nice work indeed by Mr Malik. As for the other match, while I wish Mr Marsalek well, I can't find it in myself to hope that Mr Estrella Burgos loses. His saga exemplifies the "never say die" spirit that is so amazing among those who toil for years without much reward, and his late-in-life success is inspiring.
James was so close to his first top 100 scalp ... and yet so far Still, good to have 2 in the FQR tomorrow.

He's pushed a top 100 player (whatever said player's grass weaknesses) to the very limit, will have picked up 400 Euros, and is sure to have caught the eye of various people. Might it be enough to get him a final qualies WC even? One can hope ...
