Well, Joe Salisbury is giving Dan S a real run for his money
One set all, Dan won the first 7-5, then Joe won the next 7-6(2)
Joe seems to have a great potential, now with college experience behind him. I'm hoping he's giving pro-tennis a real go and he'll be WR 600 or so by the end of the year.

Yes, 6 points to Dan, though in total ranking points count, it will only add him a net 1 just now, since his "18th best" is currently 5 points.
Incidentally, I see that ( I think unusually historically ) there are currently more GB men with a full roster of 18 scores than GB women with their full roster of 16 scores. I make it 10 - 8.
Dan is about to serve for a career best ranking scalp - he's already had match points in the very long Devvarman service game that has just finished. 6-4 *5-4

Yes, highly unusual, even with less GB women on the rankings, simply because the women get a point for losing in R1 in 25Ks and above. In the recent past, you've usually been able to count the number of GB men with a full set of 18 scores on the fingers of one hand with fingers to spare!
