Giorgi's game will suit Joko as she likes to go for her shots and not too long rallies. Joko falls down when she has to force on long rallies.

I expect Joko to win.

You know that is exactly the impression I got last week when she lost to Wozniak. Whenever there was a long rally Konta seemed to be the one that cracked (if you can call it that)  first - usually. I'm a bit surprised that when I checked a couple of minutes ago Konta has now served more double faults than Giorgi who served 17 yesterday and had Azerenka been fully fit, Giorgi would never have won that match - but then again perhaps it would not have lasted as long.

No breaks in the 3rd set but Giorgi is now serving at *4-5 and it has gone from 40-15 to ad/match point JoKo!

Giorgi saves the match point, holds for 5-5 and quickly has 0-40 on JoKo's serve

JoKo saves 1 bp with an ace then another ... but can''t save the 3rd and Giorgi will serve for the match.

Jo won more points, served 10 aces and the little I saw on TV she seemed to be moving very well. It's a shame she missed the match point but still a fantastic effort and should boost her confidence for Wimbledon.

Serving for the match - 0-30 after a disputed call - never mind, just win the next 4 points ... and Hev gets her first top 20 scalp
