Hey, fancy a Wimbledon Q WC, Eleanor ? Oh go on, you can play junior Wimbledon too, and it's your last year.

Ah, I guess she's doing just fine as she is. But it would have been interesting to see.

Wouldn't it just ?

But, yes, I guess she and Kim and Mr. Argentinian (whose name I can't remember) have got their plans and Wimbledon isn't part of it - but I'd give her a WC like a shot ! As many as she wants, in fact . . smile Mixed doubles ?

And I'm sure the money could come in handy. Even if it wasn't on the schedule, we know she'd be competitive even if it she wasn't successful, seems like it's worth a week trip home - catch up with family etc.

Exactly! Buy some marmite, stock up on decent sweets rather than those nasty Haribo thingies - LOTS of good things she could do in England to make the trip worthwhile :)

But she's never even taken a WC into a 25k event in the UK so I guess the chances are slim cry

In fact, does anyone know how things stand between her and the LTA ? Are relations 'cordial' ?

L16: Eleanor Dean WR 727 beat (4) Tamara Curovic (SRB) WR 584 (CH 394 in 2013) by 1 & 1

QF: Eleanor Dean WR 727 v (7) Gabriela Pantucková (CZE) WR 635 (= CH; junior CH 40 last year)

H2H 2-0 - Eleanor won 2 & 5 in Montenegro in 2010 and 1 & 4 in the Czech Republic in 2012, both in juniors
