Will be interesting to see if Marcus and Lewis get the Wimbledon wild card. They are both in the top 250 but with nearly 90% of their points coming from the futures tour and having only won 2 main draw challenger matches I personally don't think they should.

That's a nice win, though. Ram and Shamasdin have a decent record on grass (Shamasdin was in the doubles final at Newport last year, I think. Edit: No, it was 2011 - and Ram won Newport singles in 2009).  Saw a bit of Corrie yesterday, and he looked as though grass was a good surface for him.

Ed and Dan really are the doubles dark horse pair... for all the talk about every other partnership, this team have had so much success this year together, long may it continue!

SF:  (WC) Ed Corrie & Dan Smethurst CR 418 (207+211) vs Ruben Bemelmans & Go Soeda (BEL/JPN) CR 937 (260+677)

Despite their apparently lowly ranking, Bemelmans & Soeda took out the second seeds, Paul Hanley & Divij Sharan (individually ranked 82 & 74 respectively), in the first round & Kevin King & Juan Carlos Spir (CR256) in their quarter-final...
