There isn't a quota of British MD WCs, although there is normally a maximum of 8 total ( MD + Q ) WCs before the Q WC play-offs, so anyone instead of Kyle is not at all relevant. In any event, it is already likely that James and the three Dans will get MD WCs so there looks to be a decent contingent. Kyle just needs decided on on his own merits, and actually in spite of his season being a bit of a mess, mainly planningwise, I would give him a MD WC ( though he has been receiving too many other ones ).
I wish people would stop complaining about awful draws. Kyle has got into the top 300 without beating many top players so it's About time he started winning these challenger matches to justify the special treatment in relation to wild cards etc that many others have not had. There is far too much hype surrounding Kyle with not too much justification other that hope and faith at the moment.
And well done to Lewis again today he's bad some better performances recently.
Yeah you're right it's not justified until he beats the top seed in every challenger event.
He doesn't draw many top seeds didn't realise our top prospect wasn't capable of beating players ranked 100-200 like top seeds silly me. Let's just give him loads of Wild Cards and hope he gets easier matches that will be great I'm sure.
Kyle has earned a grand total of 27 ranking points since February ( that's equivalent to one 15K title ), so only does he appear to have a pretty unplanned schedule from a development angle ( but opportunist ! ), it hasn't been any help in earning ranking points.
Maybe he is too nice to say 'stop ****ing me about'.
Yeah Brown is certainly an enigma can beat top 50 players one day and lose to 300 ranked players the next. Great player to watch but not good on clay Kyles best surface of course.
Watched the last 2 sets of Dans match his opponents serve won the match for him that was all that was in it really. On to Eastbourne he's goes I assume.
