GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
Evo and Ward are both back in action tomorrow. Evo first up on centre court (12:30) and Ward 3rd match on centre. They are also down to play doubles, 5th match on court 9.
Would expect both of them to have a decent chance of winning sets if their opponents aren't 100%.
Dimitrov very up and down in my opinion.
Think Evans's slice might be pretty effective against a tall Anderson but it depends if Anderson is hitting to big for Dan to get a real bite on the ball in the first place
This will be Ward's 3rd & Evo's 4th match on grass this season compared to their opponents 1st, this combined with a home crowd may give our boys a chance!

Slightly, at least. He had the tape on it adjusted during the match (at least, I think it was adjusted, but I confess I hadn't noticed it there earlier - it was pretty much flesh coloured)
A 2 and 3 loss probably wasn't the fairest reflection on Dan's match but he needed to serve better to have a real chance. It was always going to be difficult to break Anderson on grass and so Dan had to be solid on his own serve. Not his best performance but not too bad either. If he gets a good draw at Eastbourne or Wimbledon he has the chance to do some damage in tournaments where slightly more generous points are available. Queen's is a mugs game where early round wins are very nice but offer no more points than high level challengers.
Well it's a great warm up tournament for Murray and players ranked in the top 75 or so, but yes, for players of Evan's or Ward's rank there is little chance that a significant ranking rise will result from playing here. That's presumably why most of our lower ranked players are over at Nottingham
