Sorry, I was trusting Mr Castle.

 Big mistake!

Well done to both Dino and Dan. Both justified their wild cards.

Didn't see any of Dino's game but looks like comprehensive enough win. Thought Dan played very well the snatches I saw; he did shank a few returns, if he can stop those low percentage returns he'd have won more comfortably, but I thought he played very well and was the best player. very good first serves and demon slice!

Dan C was serving for the set but Df on set point and then again on break point for Mannarino.

I recall a very disinterested looking display from Mannarino against James here a couple of years ago. That's the attitude we want :)

This is the first time since 2005 that 3 or more Brits will be in R2 singles here - back then, 3rd seed Tim made the QFs, 14th seed Greg & wild card Andy R3 and (WC) Jamie Delgado R2.

I think dan must be struggling as he's getting battered all if a sudden

Sorry to nit pick but this is a personal gripe of mine. The word you were looking for was uninterested.

Dan doesn't really have a great game for grass, although he does know his way around a grass court, so it isn't too surprising to see him lose a run of games, especially at this level.

First server was around 80% until those 2 double faults in the first set now 36% for the second

Yes, they do each have a different meaning but that's not to say the word was incorrectly used.

No problem, RJA, I was aware that there is a disinterested / uninterested issue. And as I wrote it, although "disinterested" sounded OK, I had a feeling it maybe should be "uninterested". But I decided to bluff it !

I will go off and learn how to not make the same mistake again.

Well it was. It is impossible to be a neutral party to a match that you are involved in.

Yes, it is one of those that sounds okay because you hear it so often, especially from TV commentators.
