Katie is clearly progressing well this grass season with 2 great wins but I still think for a long term view she will be better off in qualifying where unless she gets a nightmare draw she could win a round or two. Imagine if she gets a MDWC and plays a top 10 player? she will be hammered and it could set her back for a while. We have to see this as a long term thing. My hope would be Katy will be comfortably top 250 this time next year and this argument will be moot

Yes, I most certainly do see the arguments against Katy getting a MD WC.

I just think that precedence ( maybe bad precedence ) suggests that she is putting up a compelling recent case.

Wii she get one ? I lean to yes.

Will it be good if she gets one ? I lean to no.
