Can't say I have much hope for any wins. Maybe Katy has an off chance?

Good experience for the girls - good points for a win. I think we will have at least one GB winner.....

Shelby Rogers is on a 9 match losing streak, so hopefully a good chance for Tara.

That's usually all the incentive a Brit needs to break such a streak... hmm

Even though clearly very tough, doesn't look the worst draw for the Brits considering they all had to draw seeds.

Tara would certainly to me appear to have the best opportunity. Hopefully she can raise her game back closer to her best level and Rodgers recent record ( without knowing the players involved ) seems to offer some encouragement, as does getting whacked on grass by Emily last year.

I'm certain this has been moved up to a premier tournament rather than a 250k this year, so title needs changing.

It doesn't get upgraded until next year

Welcome to the board, but the WTA tour site has it down as premier on their calendar and the prize money as 710k

and from Edgbaston Priory site:

Tickets are now on sale for the Aegon Classic 2014
9th 15th June 2014

Upgraded to a Premier Level Tournament, the Aegon Classic is now one of the top 21 WTA events worldwide, offering players more ranking points and triple the prize money of last year.

All of which means that we can expect to see more world class female players competing on the Ann Jones Centre Court for the Maud Watson Trophy as they prepare for The Championships, Wimbledon.

Qualifying takes place on the 7th and 8th of June and on the 9th June play gets underway on the Ann Jones Centre Court. Ladies Day returns once more on Thursday 12th June with the final scheduled for Sunday 15th June.

Given the relative weakness of the field by premier event standards, big opportunity for points for Hev, Jo and Naomi given kindish draws.

Thanks, I'd probably read that at one point but it hadn't registered - title now changed.
