Play delayed until 12pm apparently?

Thanks for the update.  Sitting here like a lemon  (in front of screen) waiting for it all to happen.

I am confident Dan Evans will do something a bit special this grass court season but, am I the only one that thinks Dan Cox may win today?

They obviosly started before 12pm on some on some of the courts as Evo and Cox are underway

Evo has just broken for a 4*-3 lead

Back on serve, 4-4.

I would not like to venture a prediction about Evo for today, this week, next week or the grass court season as a whole.

... only to get broken back immediately. Dan Cox has since held serve to lead 5-4*

Dan C serving at *5-5 and Evo has 3 break points ... double fault and Evo will serve for the 1st set

Evo serving for the 1st set, 15-30 down ... 30-30 ... an ace brings up a set point, which is saved ... but a 2nd set point is taken - 7-5

3 breaks in the first 4 games of the 2nd set, which Dan Cox now leads *3-1

Hmm, I am just guessing that it is less than inspirational stuff. But hopefully we will hear from first hand source(s) in time.

The ATP link is excellent, as always

I don't think my smartphone is smart enough and that's all I have just now. Not that it would be a great watch on a phone.

Evo has the trainer on... To be fair they both are playing fairly well, although Dan C has a clear weakness off the short ball when approaching the net.

Looked to be his left knee from what I could tell ?? not sure . . .

agree completely about Dan C and the shorter ball - he looks very awkward and off balance.

and yes, Indy, I think tennis on a smart phone is probably the sign of a medical problem smile

Yes CD was definitely his left knee although it looked like he just had a massage on it, didn't see him take any painkillers.

The quality is higher since the ITO strangely, they played a fantastic point on Evo's advantage in the previous game.

That short sliced return catches out Dan C again and it's deuce from 40-15... huge return by Evo gives him a BP which Dan C saves with a stunning forehand down the line.

An ace and a big serve means that Evo will serve to stay in the second.

7-5 *4-5
