If my maths is right, this is also a battle for a lead in the rankings. I think that Cam will jump ahead of Josh on Monday after his efforts last week, but if Josh wins tomorrow, he will leapfrog back over Cam the following Monday. More at stake here than just pride.
Cam will indeed go ahead of Josh on Monday ( he will be GB no 21 ).
But a win for Josh against Cam won't bring him any immediate ranking points increase since he has 6 points due to come off on 16/06 when this week's points go on. I think he would need to win the title here to repass Cam.
I guess you are looking for a 20th contender for the top 500 ( if we discount Josh Goodall ) :)
Cam hasn't got long to do it though, only two/three months, I presume, what with him being off to college this autumn.
But it's been a great five months for him, a real blast up the rankings, and all good consistent wins too (not one rather bizarre or lucky 18 pointer, and nothing else). May it continue . . .

I reckon Cam could be the man in time
You know what ? I must be on a different planet at the moment. I actually checked for points to come off and didn't see any at all for May. It is only when I read your post, I realised we are in June already.
Guess JWH would just have to win the tournament then.
The top seed has gone - Cam could win the whole thing...
And beaten in two sets by the Q guy who Rob Carter very nearly beat (Presumably the American is a college guy just come on the scene so a 'false ranking'?)
Jankovits won his quarter 6-0 6-0. He beat Tom F by a whisker a few week's back in the League tennis, and is playing well. The Greek 32-year-old second seed doesn't seem to have been having an amazing year.
COuld indeed be interesting for Cam - or even Josh if he comes back :)
