Medical time out and heavy strapping being applied to the right knee. Problem is behind the right knee cap. Looks as though she'll continue though.

Tara breaks back but again can't hold (saved 2 break points beautifully, missed two game points, then broken and arguing about a call that was absolutely fine)

Tara misses two break points and despite saving a couple of set points she drops the opening set 75. Not playing well at all.

This is a strange performance so far, Tara seems very tentative. None of the free flowing, big forehands and nice positive tennis we are used to seeing from her. Playing some very cautious points with half pace, mid-court balls, and all around it's a bit messy.

The one positive is that Eleni is still completely hit and miss, so this could still easily turn around. Tara breaks straight back, but she really needs to start finding a way to hold her serve.

Seemed to give herself a bit of a kick up the backside there, a few far more positive points, one nicely finished at the net, another big forehand down the line into the space to get to 40-15, and Eleni sends a backhand miles wide and Tara holds for the first time in a long time
