RE: Week 23 - ITF ($75K) - Nottingham - Grass

What a pity but that was Harriet's 5th singles match in 2 days (British Tour QF/SF/Final yesterday - admittedly short sets) - she won 4 of them and took a set off a top 200 player - not bad!

Em got a Wild Card for main draw which is out all our players avoided top 100 players Tara gets a qualifier so a great chance to get her points for the top 250.

2 or 3 out of 5 through would be brilliant I'd say.

is Jade Windley injured? I think she should have got the WC rather than Emily

She's down to play the doubles.

Emily is a better player on grass and has a good history qualified and won a round last year. I assume Jade must be injured otherwise she would have has a QWCS.

Top 100 yes I know now she was outside the top 100 on acceptance list is my excuse.

Seen Emily at Wimbledon  and at Roehampton and yes good on grass. I think however the WC would have been better for a younger player --just my opinion

Jade isn't fit enough to play singles this week. Still has a niggle.

I think they are all tough draws.

Joko has the best chance. Depends which Paszek turns up for Naomi. Also depends on who Tara gets placed against, there are some good grass courters that have come through qualifying. EWS will struggle, but I could see Katy causing a surprise if she is at the top of her game.
