Looks like we'll have Heather, JoKo, Naomi, Tara and Katy in the main draw (the last three of those via WCs).

Sam will be in qualies.

QWCs are yet to be announced and I think there may still be one more MDWC to come as well.

No Heather - withdrawn today.

Not really a surprise with some hard weeks on clay and wildcards guaranteed for Birmingham and Eastbourne.

The last wildcard is for someone who was not on the acceptance list. Given that Katie Swann is here and playing British Tour, I wouldn't be surprised if it was her.

What happened to Jade and EWS? I thought they'd have made qualies - they were both ahead of Anna on the Alt list.

 I think you may be right, Naomi looks like she got in direct and there was one WC to allocate.

Yeah disappointed with Sam's draw in particular. Was hoping she'd get out her funk this week but can't see her beating Eleni on current form.

QR1: 0
QR2: 1
FQR: 3
QUAL: 5

It used to be 0-1-4-6 for 50Ks and above, I think, but that now only applies to 100K & 100K+H

Re. WCs - the top 3 seeds in qualifying were all just below Naomi on the acceptance list - it doesn't mean for certain that she didn't need a wild card but there's a chance that she didn't. If she did need the wild card, I imagine whichever of Jade and Emily doesn't get one must be injured.

Yes, very unlucky that our highest-ranked representative in qualifying by far is the one who draws a former top 15 player! H2H is 0-1 - Eleni beat Sam 5 & 1 in Pozoblanco in 2011.
