Cam has 2 or 3 match points on Dave's serve but the top seed makes him serve for it ... 6-2 4-6 *5-3

Dave completes the recovery from a set down and *2-5 down in the 3rd, winning the last 5 games of the match, so Cam will have to wait a bit longer to reach his first Futures singles final.

SF: (1) Dave Rice WR 313 beat Cameron Norrie WR 770 by 2-6 6-4 7-5

FINAL: (1) Dave Rice WR 313 v Cem Ilkel (TUR) WR 731 (= CH)

As mentioned earlier, Cem is just 2 days older than Cam, so Dave may be feeling a bit old this weekend!

Congrats to Dave on his 5th Futures singles title

FINAL: (1) Dave Rice WR 313 beat Cem Ilkel (TUR) WR 731 (= CH) by 4-6 6-4 6-3

Edit: apparently Dave was a set and a break down at one point, 4-6 2-4, before winning 10 of the last 13 games.

Having been away at RG this week, I feel so out of touch with what has been going on in the other tournaments. Time to do some catching up.

So well done to Dave on a terrific tournament victory and well done to Cam as well for a really good week.
