After he first 6 games which she dominated, she really struggled. She did very well to scrap out the first set and was a break down twice in the second. I think e back was a problem, her serving starts deteriorated very quickly. But that 11th game just killed it stone dead.

I agree she's playing better now Phil, by I have real doubts about her mental game. I think she's still too fragile when it gets tight.

Just wondering - if her back was that bad could she not have taken an injury timeout? Was that option available? Or even withdrawn? I can understand being reluctant to withdraw but it won't have given her much time to recover for the main draw if she'd managed to somehow scrap through but it would have given her a bit more time with the grass court season round the corner. Or, without seeing the match did the Ukranian just play that bit better today?

WR 188, no big scalps. I fancy Hev's chances.

This girl Kontaveit - only 18. Anyone seen her play and could she potentially cause an upset - and it really would be an upset! Got absolutely nothing to lose tomorrow - but I still think Heather Watson will have too much for her on current form? Other views?

Well, not yet anyway! Heather Watson on current form would be a big scalp but I've always though she would get to the main draw whoever she faced.

I saw her play at Preston and she was very impressive.

She will be an awkward match, but I expect Hev to win.

The Estonian girl was a top junior, has taken a bit longer than expected to breakthrough. But still a huge talent and is BFF with Jess Ren. Hev in the past has struggled a little against up and comers but I strongly fancy even a below par Hev to come through.

In ranking order of the FQR losers except that there is a random draw between the top 4 for the top 4 places and that draw can cover more places if LL spots were known about before qualifying finished. So JoKo should certainly be one of the first 4 in line.

"see this match and johanna konta was the more offensive player but beygelzimer was really fighting hard in the second set ... drama has been at 5* 40 A when konta hits a ball that beygelzimer played and after that beygelzimer play a ball out she put a mark that umpire was agree but konta say toumpire : you totally wrong it is not this mark ... at changeover konta looks beygelzimer in the eye and said to her nice cheat , nice behaviour and totally imploded after that"

Oh dear :(

Can't offer a lot on Heather, as by the time Wardy had finished I got to Heather's court as she was just holding for 6-5. So I properly saw 4 points which were mainly terrible errors by her opponent. She did look very smiley after she had won though so hopefully feeling better than yesterday.

Jo had just broken for 5-4 when I got to her court but then got broken straight back and had to save set points before the tiebreak. Got a bit lucky on set point as Beygelzimer seemed to think she had had a bad bounce which caused her to leave the ball very short for Jo to put away.

Jo seemed to be serving at her usual pace to me but missed an awful lot of first serves and her service games were a struggle. When she broke back in the second set she started to serve much better and after a good hold for 5-4 I was expecting her to put pressure on Beygelzimer's serve. Instead she missed 4 returns of serve. Then lost a 40-0 advantage in the next game only to play brilliant drop volley to save break point. At Deuce she slipped and fell as she served leaving her covered in clay and breakpoint down again. She didn't hurt herself but seemed a bit shocked, the umpire even came down to check she was ok. She played another brilliant point ending with a winning lob to save the break point but then served back to back double faults to lose serve.

The 3rd set was just error after error.
