Both QR2 opponents are now known - Lorenzi has just thrashed Safwat 1 & 1.

QR2: Dan Cox WR 222 v (q1) Paolo Lorenzi (ITA) WR 89 (CH 49 in 2013)
QR2: James Ward WR 169 v (q21) Ryan Harrison (USA) WR 129 (CH 43 in 2012) *

* H2H 0-2 - Ryan won 3 & 3 at the Nottingham Challenger in 2010 and in 3 sets in QR1 here at Roland Garros in 2011

Don;t know about Zverev, or who was next in the women, but I know that Ann-Sophie Mestach is coming in for a huge amount of stick for stopping after only three points.

Seems incredibly strange to me that they put Dan C back to Friday - does this mean that he'll have to play twice on Friday to qualify?!

Do players still get points /prize money if they withdraw from the draw without playing? Or is that a daft question? Just wondering why someone would play a few games or in this case a few points and withdraw, when clearly they would know beforehand

Just the backlog really I presume re Dan's match, I mean Hev's QR1 match has still to be played.

They will surely be stretching qualifying until Saturday, I can't imagine players being asked to play two qualifying matches in one day when they can stretch to Saturday and even Sunday if things got worse.
