Would definitely add Freya; I think she's probably at the top.

Hmm, Jaggy, you recently opined that Eleanor, Katy and Katie would be ahead of both Laura and Heather in the rankings within the next two years, which I was not alone in disagreeing with. And then in further discussion, that it would not be too disappointing if Laura and Heather were then simply in the top 100 ( but say well off top 50 ), which I also disagreed with.

Now don't be a Roger the Dodger with continually moving time frames :)

Anyway, as to five years time, yes, more debatable in my opinion, but out of these names mentioned above I can only see Eleanor and possibly Freya challenging Laura and Heather if these two are fit and still playing.

2 years time the 3 or 4 mentioned will be with Laura and Heather and further down the line our top players. That's what I was saying. Sadly in the men's game Andy is he stays fit will probably still be our number one.

Harriet was a break down in the first set, but seems to have won quite a four games on the trot and now leads 6*-5

It will be Andy Pandy if she can beat Lou Brouleau.

Took me  while  smile

harriet had at least one MP but couldn't take it. Lou's just broken and will try and serve it out 6*-5. But with 20 breaks of serve so far, don't give up Harriet !

QF: Harriet Dart WR 922 lost to (Q) Lou Brouleau (FRA) WR 1126 (CH 516 in 2012) by 6-7(4) 6-2 7-5

What a pity - she would have played a 17-year-old unranked qualifier who has never broken the top 900 even in juniors had she won. A decent week but a big missed opportunity
