Matt's having a good week, giving out a good beating to Paval, who beat the 5th seed yesterday 6-4 6-1.

Plays a Q or WC next, a great chance for a much needed good points haul.

He seemed to be well ahead in that 11th game, if I remember correctly - bit of a shock to look again and find that he got broken - he has had at least one break back point but now Cociasu has a match point.

Oh dear, the 2nd Brit in the top 1000 to have gone out to a player ranked 1933= today

Shorty had plenty of opportunities to break back in the final game, but couldn't take them and lost 7-5 in the third.
