Naomi is only 3 more wins away from the top 150 target I set for her for Wimbledon and that's before any of the UK grass tournaments. If she keeps this form up she won't be far away from Hev and Jo. She is also certain now to be above Laura after Wimbledon!
And congrats to Jaggy for the great confidence he has shown about Naomi even before last week.
As I indicated in a table at the end of the Fukuoka thread, though, she will at least be closing in on poor Laura immediately post Wimbledon, but is not yet guaranteed to be ahead of Laura at that stage.
Laura will have 383 points ( 729 - 5 - 1 - 60 - 280 )
Assuming Naomi gets a Wimbledon MD WC, her points just need adjusted for last year's and this year's Wimbledon :
Great stuff from Naomi - Tanasugarn reached the QFs last week and took Pliskova to 3 sets so there was no indication that Naomi would put her away with a score like that!

Sam seemed competitive in her return games but was unable to hold serve at all. 2-6 1-6
A closer look at Sam's stats for her first round win, indicated that she is struggling on her own serve. She had 3 aces and 8 dfs in that match. Broken 3 times in a 6-2 6-2 win. So perhaps not much of a surprise that a better quality opponent beat her convincingly.
