Brilliant ! How to ruin the party for no reason . . .

After turning up 'uninvited' and giving the two poor guys in the qualies and Tom Allen basically no chance, Lucas Pouille now withdraws. And I'm guessing he's not injured but probably something to do with Roland Garros. . . . .

yeah, just seen the press release - - - - as expected, Lucas has a WC for the MD so now he's legging it home to prepare coz I guess he doesn't think that playing guys in the 500-1000 is particulalry good preparation. Which is probably true but not impressive as far as I'm concerned.
Feel sorry for the two Romanians and Tom. Glad the 27 year-old Romanian WR 1200 or whatever has managed to get the benefit but all the same . . .

Not sure if it is a scoreboard glitch or rain, but Jack's score has stalled with him leading 7-5 *3-1 15-30

Surely Pouille could've seen out another couple of days then headed home for a week of rest/preparation? Not a lot of class with his actions this week.

Jack is well into his second match of the day, lost the first set 3-6, won the second 6-2 and now a break up in the third

Was he not World Junior Nš 1 last year at some stage ?
