For a one line explanation, Croatian Alja Tomljanovic has been allowed to swap to Australia and represent them in the Fed Cup, because here Aussie passport application was made before the rule change in 2015. Aljaz was denied the right to play for GB despite being in the same position.

Double standards or what?  disbelief

 seemed like Aljaz has a good point in general (fognini is an arse) but it was a fairly mild mannered discussion really - not sure the umpire separating them was as exciting as the twitter person suggests!!!

 Yes, I agree, I thought the 'two minutes' discussion was hardly a bust-up biggrin
