Week 19 - Challenger ($50,000) - Gimcheon, Korea (Hard)

Dan Smethurst should be in the main draw here (Dan Cox was a late withdrawal, don't know why)

QR1: Ed Corrie WR 352 v Kim Cheong-Eui (KOR) WR 576 (CH 530 last Aug)

H2H 1-0 - Ed beat Kim 3 & 2 in London-Cumberland Futures in 2011

I assume Dan S and Ed are playing doubles.

Ed now playing qualis having lost a match he should have won earlier today, otherwise he wouldn't have made it in time.

Could be a tough one for Smethurst. Yang was ITF world junior champ in 2008 after beating Janowicz to win the French Open juniors and winning the Aus Open and Wimbledon junior doubles. Also lists hard as his favourite surface.

Still no news about Oli, can't even see anything on Twitter...confuse

Well, I cannot work out who the last wildcard is and of course with dignitaries such as philwrig there, it seems to have attracted a higher calibre of tennis playersmile

Dan's first match is scheduled for Monday, early breakfast time UK.  Meanwhile Dan and Ed have not made the cut in doubles, poor Ed seems a long way from home and right out of luck at the moment.
