In the 25k in Japan, all three British girls get qualifiers (although Emily's is ranked about 430 so only a few places below her).

At Nice, the Skupskis have beaten the second seeds in a MTB ! :)

But unless I'm going blind (or doolally) I can't see a thread for it . . .

Yep. Having read CD's post, I thought it definitely deserved it's own thread. Hoping they can go on and lengthen the thread even more over the rest of the week.

I'd say so so, could be easier could be harder, both capable of qualifying ( obviously Hev in particular ).

Ah, so near yet so far for Dan S. I assume too late now for anyone to drop out.

He's had such a good year, and I reckon he would have acquitted himself well.

After our speculation, it seems like Dan did actually make the trip out to Paris to sign in - only to miss the cut by ONE place . . . as you say, so near and yet so far . . .

Quite right too. He's played so well to get such a potential opportunity. And in most of the lead up I thought that he would sneak in.

Are there QR1 matches still to start ? - grasping at straws.
