Does anyone know how close Smethurst, Edmund & Broady are to getting into the qualifying draw?

Smethurst is 21st on the alt list.

Edmund 44th

I haven't seen the women's list.

I think Naomi is 21st alt too so its going to be close for both Naomi and Dan. I highly doubt Kyle will make it

Me too especially as Kyle has 18 points to defend later this month. Then again he's surprised me before and I'm sure he will many times again...

I too highly doubt that Kyle will make it, but only because I don't see there being enough withdrawals.

Once the entry list order is out ( whether MD or Q ) subsequent ranking point changes do not effect the order at all - i.e. it remains based on the rankings at that time.

Is it possible for Kyle to receive a wildcard to qualifying?

Does Wimbledon give WCs to random young french players ? Roland Garros has various wildcard swap deals with US Open and Aus Open. To date, there is no swap deal with Wimbledon so I don't like Kyle's chances.

I don't like Naomi's chances of making qualifying either. The list has barely moved.

Anything's possible but Kyle won't be there, instead he'll be preparing for an intense period of grass court tennis.

Dan S is now 17th alternate on the Q list

Accroding to his tweet, Dan C is practicing hard in Marbella, trying to get some sun and clay.

Actually, the list I'm looking at hadn't adjusted for the MD changes, or Nick K, so, by my reckoning, with Mayer out, that makes Dan 13th (but I wouldn't swear on it)
