Ed's qualifier is now known too - a former top 500 player.

L32: (6) Richard Gabb WR 428 beat (WC) Kim Sun-Yong (KOR) WR 1424 (CH 660 in 2006) by 3-6 6-3 6-4
L32: (4) Ed Corrie WR 352 v (Q) Cho Soong-Jae (KOR) WR 1136 (CH 488 in 2010)
L32: George Coupland WR 730 lost to Gengo Kikuchi (JPN) WR 935 (CH 735 last Jun) by 5 & 2

Richard will play doubles partner Marcus Daniell (NZL) or Korean qualifier Song Min-Kyu in R2, while the winner of Ed's match will play Kikuchi.

Really don't know what to make of George.

I've seen him a few times and the potential is there to move into the top 500. He has a good serve and volley game and will do well on grass.

His results however are nothing to write home about.

Richard Gabb i've only seen once on stream and i think he is correctly ranked at present.

I'm hoping Ed can match his ranking at least and get to the semi final and pick up some decent points.

Richard has also withdrawn from the doubles so clearly something isn't right. Hope it's not too bad, Richard.
