Mind you, you finished running poor Fitzty off the road yet ????

LOL. Not sure where his photo was taken, but the landscape certainly looked Spanish. So I am assuming that he is over here already. Hoping to meet up with Fitzy personally for the first time, in Madrid this weekend. I will no doubt end up cheering for Sloane when she plays.

Really looking forward to a few days at the Mutua Madrid Open

yeah, pretty sure he's in your neck of the woods - Soto have posted that they're 'thrilled to receive him' etc. (and re Lewis too)

Very scrappy match near the end, especially in the MTB. Good one to come through though!

Here's hoping it's Colin & Ross on the other side of the net in the final.

Watched the 2nd set of the match. Very solid on serve, didn't face a break point for the whole match.

I think this pair could go far this year if they both stay healthy... Tour Finals should definitely be a target!

They're also the only seeds left in the draw now! smile

Good news for Jamie and John. Can't understand why Colin and Ross aren't playing today as well. They were first to play their QF (on Weds) and now have to wait until Sat for their SF. Neither of their opponents Knowle/Brown is still in the singles so it would have made sense, surely, to play both semis today.

I bloody well hope not! wink  Great news to log on to. biggrin  Divided loyalties tomorrow, but rather a nice dilemma to have.  I kind of lean towards Colin & Ross so that the latter can get his ranking up a bit higher, but I shan't be too disappointed if the third seeds swan off with the title... wink

If next week's rankings parallel this week's (ie with usual caveats), Mr Hutchins' ranking should go up into the 160s if they lose and the 130s if they win. That will be quite a help. Mr Fleming will also gain, as he can replace on of his "best of other countable tournaments" QFs.

Super stuff. Particularly that Ross has come back so strongly already.
