Good win for James here but can't get those 51 points from my head. This is the time for James to go big.

L16: (7) James Ward WR 155 v Jason Kubler (AUS) WR 355 (CH 268 in 2012)

Kubler has lost in R2 of his last 4 Challengers, a run it would be nice if he could keep going!

Ward against Kubler has been moved indoors which should greatly suit Ward as Kubler hasn't played a hard court tournament since Sep 2010.

Well, if we'd been offered two Wardy wins for the loss of just 2 games in total in less than an hour and 5 minutes at the start of the week, I guess we'd have taken it! 3rd seed Polansky or Ginepri next.

James is very capable of beating either player. I wasn't that impressed with Polansky last time i saw him on livestream.

Patrick Rourke on Twitter tells me that he expected Kubler not to last the match once it moved indoors because apparently he has problems with his knees on hard courts, which would explain the above.

It must be beyond frustrating to sign up for a clay court tournament then have it moved indoors in that case (not like me to feel sorry for an Aussie, I know wink but in this case ...)

Robby Ginepri has taken the first set 6-1 against the third seed Polansky. Although ranked 443 he has a CR of 15 and his ranking is made up of seven scoring tournaments.
