Nice story about Katie - didn't realise the poor girl was in the toilets vomiting during her last final !! (But I'm sure she's right - she;d have won it all the same if it hadn't been her first final)
The (in my view) daft comments from Downey still rile but they're only requoted, and take nothing away from the good article about Katie.

I can't find the thread, but I seem to remember it being reported that Katie lost surprisingly in a couple of top junior matches due to vomiting just before the match. Seems a bit odd. Nerves?
Edens score shows improvement at her end given how much better a player Katie B is. Short steps for her but current form makes her a top 1000 player now hopefully she can push on. Excited about Harriet and Katie in thr coming months think we ll see them both top 500 before long.
Katy v Harriet is incredibly close - Katy broke for *6-5 in the 3rd and had match points when she served for the match but Harriet managed to break back. Tiebreak.

Not necessarily. I've seen it a lot with certain athletes where when they push themselves too far they throw up. I'm even aware of some high profile athletes who throw up after every race.
F: BOULTER, Katie (GBR) 8 772 v STOJANOVIC, Nina (SRB) 996 (=CH, Age 17)
Quite a reversal given that Katie only took 3 games off Katy in Gloucester last month! Katie's opponent in the Final (and doubles partner this week)was a top 20 junior a year ago and Katie has played her twice in juniors, winning in 3 sets in Gallipoli in 2011 and 3 & 6 in Manila last year.
