Expecting bagels again for Katie - how did Peddi Reddy get through!!!

Eden must have a good shot at another win and an on form Katy would dispose of Emma, but her form has been patchy. Harriet will be 50/50 and Sabrina will be a step too far.

Amazed that the Belgian 16 year-old beat Nuria - hoping (for Eden's sake) that it was a blip down by Nuria rather than a blip up by Elena.

All four girls currently playing (Sabrina is in the second batch of matches).

Peddy Reddy not doing so badly :)

4-4 in Katie's match.

Harriet is the bagel queen this morning - dishing out a 6-0

Katy won the first set 6-2

And Eden 5-4* up

Eden was 52* up, went 56* down, but has just broken back to get to a tiebreak.

And Eden wins the TB 7-1 :)

Harriet still on course 6-0 3-0

Katie B into a TB

Katy about to win nicely

(NB I know paulisi predicted Katie would thrash Peddi Reddi but I don't think it means Katie's playing badly that she';s not. The Indian girl is a little like Eden - someone who played a lot of the senior circuit while still very much a junior and so lost a lot of matches but there's no reason to think she's as weak as all that, just young).

Well, the Hungarian girl won't be feeling best chuffed:

L16: (3) Katy Dunne WR 484 def. Emma Laine (FIN) WR 962 (CH 50 in 2006) 6-2 6-1
L16: Harriet Dart WR 1004 def. (7) Csilla Argyelan (HUN) WR 704 (CH 692 earlier this month) 6-0 6-0

Katie B got the tiebreak - the second set should now be a bit easier.

Eden a break down (not that breaks are key)

And Eden manages to take out the girl who beat the WR 301 yesterday!

L16: (Q) Eden Silva WR 1129 v (Q) Elena van der Sypt UNR (16yo, upset the top seed today) 7-6(1) 7-5

Katie B was down a break but managed to get it back. Now 3-3

Sabrina, with the toughest ask, is 2-5 down v the WR 502

Anyone from Katie Katy or Harriet for the final. Be good for Harriet to get there so that all 3 would be inside the top 850.

I suspect we may get a Katie v Harriet semi final, based on Harriet's results last week.

Katie and Eden are staying around next week for a very weak tournament along with Fran, Dasha and Lucy - so should be looking at more big points next week

Saying that Katy had an impressive scoreline as well, possibly the 2 in form players this week having to face off in the quarters.

Looks like we may have another doubles title on the cards

Eden & Partner and Harriet and Katy are already into the semi finals

Katie is into a second set tie break having won the first set.
