Whatever happened to Robyn Beddow?  She used to turn up in the most exotic of locations!

So Sabrina seems to be back and over the yips or whatever ailment she has had for the last 18 months.

Excellent looking win by Sabrina. Very good to see this recent much better form after what must have been a hugely frustrating quite lengthy period for her.

Hmm, reading back, perhaps Riley is rather overranked. However, still good to see Sabrina so much more competitive again these days.

Well, as lots of our girls get a hard time for being supposedly over-ranked (maybe or maybe not rightly), at least it's nice if we take manage to take advantage when the boot is perhaps on the other foot. smile

And the other two won as well in the doubles, so all good in Egypt: Eden and partner won 6-2 6-0 and Savannah and partner, as wildcards, won 6-1 6-2

Katie B also won, 7-5 6-2

And Katy and Harriet beat Dom and Aimee 6-2 6-3

My 6 out of 6 accumulator still looking good :::))) - unfortunately not backed up with major real money but I'll get dinner and drinks if it comes in !

Eden posts another good result, confirming her new form (but against the Indian LL, not the original Italian girl):

L32: (Q) Eden Silva WR 1129 def (LL) Disha Satish Agarwal (IND) UNR 6-0 6-1

Points are points and Eden is starting to pick them up on a regular basis.

Come on Fran - you need the points too.

I don't know the calibre of the player Katy's playing, but the bookies odds beforehand suggested that the double bagel was definitely on :)

Katie won 0 & 1

Fran lost to Abou Zekry a lot more heavily than she did last September, sadly
