Dominique must feel like she's banging her head against a brick wall - don't know how many pro tournaments she's tried, but still to get a point despite winning quite a few matches.

I know what you mean - this is her 34th ITF Pro Circuit tournament, though there are plenty of players who have played a lot more events without getting a ranking point. She gets close enough to make you think she will get off the mark one day if she perseveres - whether it's worth the effort or not is something only she can decide.

Well, yet again, that's a pretty decent draw ! Of the 5 unseeded GB girls, only one draws a seed - and that's against Katy.

Agreed all but Dasha must have reasonable chances of picking up more points.

I'd expect 3 to come through from that Katy and Katie with bakery products and Harriet. Eden and Fran 50/50.

This week's installment of Britain in Egypt gets underway for today with Katy, as expected, taking no prisoners, up 4-0, and Sabrina being up 2-0 but now 2-1

Well done to Dasha in avoiding the bakery 6-2 first set to Katy and some close gmaes towards the end, even better for Sabrina 5-2 up at present.

Dasha was always going to be be the casualty of today (and one of them had to lose anyway). Let's hope Sabrina can keep it up in the second set.

Sabrina is 3-3 in the second set. Bear in mind though that her opponent is a player that even Robyn Beddow has thrashed, so would expect Sabrina to win this.
