Excellent result. And without her normal huge haul of aces (although that might be because Bychkova got her racket on a lot of balls which were still practically aces).

NB Naomi will play the home girl in the final who beat the top seed. So there will be some atmosphere there, I'd think smile

Another excellent win for Naomi This will be her first 25K singles final since the first half of 2011, when she reached two of them.

Although she has a 0-3 H2H against Abduraimova, she got very close in Tallinn last year, taking the 1st set and only just getting edged out of the 2nd set tiebreak 12-10.
