It was disappointing to see recent winners of the National premier men's indoor tournament gosling TA disqualified and relegated from the tough SE division of national tier Aegon team tennis .On a selfish note it means that my team A1 Pharmaceuticals ltc do not have to play gosling who on paper were tough opponents
It's also good news for for woodford wells whose goal is to stay in the national tier which will be a little easier now that only 1 further team will be relegated .
8 teams will go to the national finals in Bournemouth 11-13/7 From the remaining 31 teams from 4 regional divisions
The winners of each regional division go automatically through to the finals , but amazingly 3 teams have the chance of being promoted from the SE division that contains no less than 3 recent winners Bromley , raynes park and last years winners Sutton

Surely at one of our premiere academies / HPCs they could have found a fourth male player of some description. I know it would have to have been a player rated below 4.1 to come in at the last minute, but they most have loads of junior boys there in both their performance and non-performance squads. No matter that the kid would lose - sell it as great experience, make a fuss of him and live to play the rest of the season...
Agreed its baffling totally lack of planning and attention to detail - shame as you say would have been been good experience of a youngster ! God I could have even played .
Four 10.2 ratings losing 12-0 could have kept them in the national tier all that hard work to get their down the drain !
