Happy to see Alex come back as well as he has. There's always the worry of a return to injury being a dud for a while, but Alex has stormed back and it's great to see.

Well done, Alex !

Having already said that I thought Friday and Saturday were pretty remarkable, now adding Sunday, I'd say these last 3 days of week 17 have been possibly the overall best and most encouraging few days that I can recall in GB tennis, especially taking account of the young prospects involved. Tremendous from the line-up we had ( even moreso who remained on Thursday night ) and Steven has confirmed its historical context.

OK, I separate this from great one or two person triumphs, given Andy winning Grand Slams and the Olympics was not bad :)

( let's not be distracted by the start of week 18 ! )
