It is clear the Kyle has learned a lot from Andy whilst training with him, including how to stress out your supporters just when you think everything is going to be plain sailing. However, this is a fabulous win over a very good player and now the chance of some serious points.
Kyle's serving stats were very good today and I anticipate his serve will only get better. After all, his new coach should know a thing or two about serving.
Is this just Kyle's 2nd win in a Challenger MD match ? I know he doesn't have many.

His 3rd in a Challenger main draw - Campozano in Trnava R1 in mid-September (the match before he lost to Bedene there) and Gombos in Brasov 2 weeks earlier, when he gave Haider-Maurer a walkover in R2.

Thanks. I knew he hadn't had too many. Let's hope there are more to come this week.
Not many English players have one four consecutive matches at this level on clay in the last decade. Obviously Dino; Tim did it at a much higher level ( RG 2004) but not since. Maybe Boggo did, or Dan Smethurst. Any ideas?
Anyway, good opportunity for Kyle to rack up some points. Hopefully the next round will be streamed.
