Katie makes her first 10K singles semi-final

QF: Katie Boulter WR 773 beat (7) Valeria Prosperi (ITA) WR 548 (= CH) by 5-7 6-3 6-2

SF: Katie Boulter WR 773 v (4) Elena Teodora Cadar (ROU) WR 444 (= CH)

H2H 0-1, very close - Cadar won 7-5 in the 3rd here last November

Well done Katie.

With Katie's win she could be British no. 15 when the rankings are announced on 5 May. Manisha will be on 34 points and Katie will be on 28, 31 or 36 depending how far she goes in this tournament.

After that will be Laura who will be on 26 or Eleanor who could get up to 27 if she wins in Antalya. Dasha will be on 25 with two points to add but one to come off.
